November 27
Woke up in Mt. Gambier, had a great flight back over the Coorong right over the places we had hiked through a few days ago, made a switch in Adelaide and winged two hours over outback to Alice Springs. I was met at the airport by an elderly Persian couple who have just been here a year straight from Shiraz!! One of their sons is an AB member here in Alice Springs. We all enjoyed a Persian meal together (I've had more Persian meals in the last week than the whole rest of my life put together - let it be known that I'm for spicier torshee!) Went out visiting with a couple of local Baha'is, including an 80-year old ex-nun who can outrun everyone else - a real sparkplug. Alice Springs has been the site of the most indigenous teaching activity in OZ history. Now, how to move to the next level? Tonight we're going for a "barby" (barbecue) at a Maori couples' home and meet with some more of the community. Should be good!
Love to All,
Kevin
