December 1

Couldnít sleep too well - too much excitement in Alice. Called home to hear news of waist deep snow drifts and blizzards and here I am nearly getting heat stroke! Since it's already December 4 I'll make it brief . . . the Bahai National Center set up a nationwide radio interview. Armand thought that it went very well even thought I felt a bit a of a disconnect with the interviewer. After that we returned to Yiperinya School. This time they had everything set up. Armand did a masterful job of relating with the kids, the teachers and school board members - he truly modeled the correct way to utilize a visiting "traveling teacher", as did every one in the Alice Bahai community! The community got together for one more communal dinner/gathering at the ever hospitable Yazdani guesthouse. Here again several "pre-Bahais" were invited and were bathed in the Alice Springs loving embrace! This time I had a window seat on the return flight and had a much enhanced appreciation of the beautiful OZ outback, this time from an aerial perspective. We went directly from the Adelaide airport to a huge youth fireside at AB member Dr.Vahid Master's home. I'd estimate 50+ crammed in for my attempt at a fireside talk, which included some provocative questions. There was even a contingent from Hermannsburg present. Vahid shared his fireside methodology, which is right on target and includes extensive follow up and forethought.
